Gentle treatment for a wide range of conditions
Following a car accident and several other minor incidents, I have struggled for 10 years with my back, I have tried all different types of treatment most of which had an effect short term, but I wanted to feel better long term. A relative suggested Rebecca and the Bowen Technique. After only 3 treatments I have found what I call my "sticking plaster". The problem is nipped in the bud before it becomes too painful. I have found Rebecca to be professional, patient, kind and understanding. Most importantly I am now pain and ache free.

My daughter hurt her neck 2 years ago during a PE lesson at Primary School. I thought with her being young that the discomfort would soon dissapear, but even though it became less painful over time she still had some discomfort and found she couldn't fully participate in PE and found swimming difficult. I was unsure what to do to help her as she was only 8 at the time and I didn't want her to have any heavy handed bone cracking typed treatments! I decided to try Bowen as I had heard that it was very gentle. The improvement happened very quickly with such minimal hands on work being given. It really was gentle and my daughter loved the breaks between moves as Rebecca read her a few pages from a childrens book. However she did get the giggles when moves were made under her chin!

I had been suffering with shoulder pain for several months. I had an MRI scan which showed degenerative changes to the AC joint, acute inflammatory changes to the clavicle, a small joint effusion and a change to the supraspinatus tendon. My consultant decided that I would be put on a waiting list to receive surgery. I was in quite alot of pain from time to time so I contacted Rebecca to see if the technique could help. I received Bowen treatments at roughly monthly intervals. It was very effective in reducing the pain whilst waiting for surgery. My post operation recovery was very quick, but I had a few more Bowen treatments afterwards to alleviate the stiffness and reduced mobility which is very common after surgery.
